SLEME Officers’ training day was successfully conducted at Regimental Headquarters premises on 28.03.2024 (Thursday) with the participation of number of Senior officers, Officers of all battalions and Base workshops.
In the morning, Officers participated in a physical training session and sword drill training, and then all Officers involved in the guest lecture on the 'Workshop safty and Management' by Mr. Saman Bandara, who is an Instructor at Korean Tec - Orugudawatta.
Soon after the Lunch, a Presentation on “Israei and Palestine Conflict” was presented by Newly Joinned Young officers of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers .
Further more, Dr. Tina Solomons, conducted a very informative lecture on “ Mindfulness For Well – Being of Military Officers ” the Diners Club, which was held in the evening at Regimental Officers’ mess. Lastly a Book Launch was held for “දුරේක්ෂ - All about Telescopes” authored by 2/Lt K D P Anjana SLEME. Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and The Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, Center Commandant Col A D Sirimannage, Senior Officers and Officers participated to the event.
