Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers bid a farewell to Major General TA Peiris ptsc The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on 03 June 2025 at SLEME Regimental Centre.
On the last day of his service, in conformity with military traditions, Major General TA Peiris ptsc was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier H D A N Hettige and offered a Guard Turn out on his arrival at the venue. Then, he was invited to received the salute in the Guard of Honour. Afterwards, all officers took part in tea party at the Offficers’ mess – Regimental Centre SLEME.
In the evening, a banquet was held for the outgoing Major General TA Peiris ptsc, at the RHQ Officers’ mess. The Centre Commandant Brigadier H D A N Hettige, appreciated his service rendered to the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and for Sri Lanka Army.
Out going Major General TA Peiris ptsc was presented with commemorative memento by the Director General Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Major General C Kalutharaarachchi and all the officers.
Number of senior officers, officers and their wives participated in the Farewell mess night of Major General TA Peiris ptsc.
