Seva Vanitha branch of SLEME initiated a book donation and scholarships program for grade 5 and university selected children of the soldiers and civil staff of the unit line. A wonderful short ceremony was held on 29th November 2023 at the Defence College Colombo auditorium. The event was graced by Mrs. Nandani Samarakoon the president the President Seva vanitha branch of SLEME and the Colonel Commandant Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, and senior members of Seva vanitha branch, Senior officers, Officers, cross section of soldiers and civil staff attended the ceremony
