The wheel alignment and wheel balancing section of 6 Battalion Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Mullaithivu was inaugurate opened by Colonel Commandant – Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Director Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Brigadier MAAD Sirinaga on 08 January 2018, due to non-availability of wheel alignment and wheel balancing centres in and around Mullaithivu and Kilinochchi areas. Wheel aligning and balancing of the vehicles deployed under security force Mullaithivu were done through local agents who are located around Vauniya and Anuradhapura. 2. Therefore this section was a dense requirement to the area and it was timely identified by Commanding Officer – 6 Battalion Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Lieutenant Colonel C Wadusinghearachchi and decided to commence the work which was delayed due to the financial restrictions.
