The Commanding Officer of the EME (Arty) Bn, Lt Col DMDAB Danasekara relinquished the duties and handed it over to the incoming Commanding Officer Maj PSJM Pitakotuwa on 12th March 2019 Aligning with this special occasion incoming Commanding Officer was awarded Guard Turnout and Ceremonial Parade at the Square that was followed by the other customary deeds of the military traditions such as sapling of trees, All Ranks Lunch and farewells.
