The Cricket Team of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Clinches the title as ‘B’ Division Champions

The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers cricket team managed to score an excellent victory by 108 runs against the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Cricket Team in the 2024 Inter-Regiment 50 over Cricket Tournament “B” Division. This match was held on 11 March 2024 at Muthukumaru Cricket Stadium, Panagoda.

SLEME team scored 294 for the loss of 08 wickets in 50 overs while the opponent team could score 186 marks all out in 43 overs.

S/M101678 Cfn Gnanaratne NGPKM and S/M101187 L/Cpl Mendis BRN who scored 90 runs for 103 balls and 57 runs for 92 balls respectively brought the team to the victory end of the day. Cfn Gnanaratne was rewarded as the man of the match. 7 wickets for 24 runs and 02 wickets for 34 runs by S/2136965 Rec Samaratunga TS and S/632184 Rec Dhananjaya PI showcased their bowling performances.
