In a harmonious convergence of music and community spirit, the Asian paints Causeway Musical Night, meticulously organized by the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Ex-Servicemen Association, unfolded its enchanting melodies on the 30th of September 2023 at the scenic Vystwyke Ground in Modara. As the clock struck 2000hrs, the atmosphere transformed into a musical haven, featuring the captivating ensemble "Karuna with Sarigama." This musical journey, masterfully curated by artists such as Roy Jackson, Nawagampura Ganesh, Suja, Santhuja, Manoj, and Niluxshi, resonated with diverse genres, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended. The prestigious presence of Senior Deputy Inspector General of Sri Lanka Police, Deshabandu Thennakoon, added a touch of distinction to the night. The event transcended physical boundaries through a live telecast on Ada Derana 24 Channel, bringing the magic to a broader audience. The Commander Army Logistics comd and the Col Comdnt of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Maj Gen SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, Number of Senior Officers, Officers and Other ranks participated in the event.
