Seva Vanitha branch of SLEME initiated a book donation and scholarships program for grade 5 and university selected children of the soldiers and civil staff of the unit line. A wonderful short ceremony was held on 29th November 2022 at the Defence College Colombo auditorium. The event was graced by Mrs. Janaki Liyanage the president Army Seva Vanitha unit and the Colonel Commandant Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, The President Seva vanitha branch of SLEME Mrs. Nandani Samarakoon and senior members of Seva vanitha branch, senior officers, officers, cross section of soldiers and civil staff attended the ceremony.
