In line with 74th anniversary celebrations, a pirith chanting and alms giving ceremony of was held on 10th and 11th December 2023 with the presence of the Colonel Commandant Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc at the WO’s & Sgt’s Mess – RHQ SLEME. Senior Officers, Officers, Seva Vanitha Members and other ranks of Corps of SLEME participated to the pirith chanting and arms giving (Heel Dana). A beautiful perehera was organized to colorful the ceremony from Gunawardhanarama Temple to RHQ SLEME.
