2 (V) SLEME marked opening the newly built Officers’ Mess Complex

Newly built Officers’ Mess Complex of 2(v) SLEME Diyatalawa was declared open on 24th September 2022 by the Commander Logistics Command and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Major General SPAIMB Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc.

For this event the Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Brigadier SA Pathirana RSP, the Deputy Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Colonel PDLAC Sirisena RSP Lsc were participated.

The construction of the building was finished under the supervision of the present Commanding Officer of the Battalion, Lt Col MM Chandana.

The newly opened Officers’ Mess Complex consists with two storey which includes accommodation and dine-in facilities for all the Officers. The elegant view of mountain range gives a greater value for the premises.
