ප්‍රමුඛ කාර්යභාරය

The prime role of the Directorate of army Pay & Records of Sri Lanka Army is to process monthly Pay & Allowances of Offrs and ORs of Reg/Vol forces and the maintenance of records of the regular force of the Sri Lanka Army.

කාර්යභාරය

  • 1). Computation of Pay & Allowances to the Officers and Soldiers who are in service.
  • 2). Maintenance of Records of all personnel those serving as well as retired.
  • 3). Computation of Pensions, W&OP, Dependent's Awards and Gratuities.
  • 4). Payment of Pay and Allowances and Compensation for Officers and Soldiers, in the category of KIA, MIA and WIA.

කාර්යයන්

  • 1). Operational Control of funds allocated under Pay Votes.
  • 2). Computation of Pay & Allowances of Officers and ORs in the Reg and Vol Forces.
  • 3). Preparation of Annual and Supplementary Estimates in respect of Salaries of pers in the Reg and Vol Forces.
  • 4). Operational Control of 122 X Unit Sub Imprest Accounts.
  • 5). Carrying out of periodical checks on Sub Imprest Accounts at Unit locations.
  • 6). Granting of Distress Loans under Govt Advance Account Scheme.
  • 7). Payment of Service Pension, Disability Pension, Dependants' Award, W&OP and Service Gratuities of Reg personnel.
  • 8). Payment of allowances to Regular & Volunteer Army personnel undergoing training abroad.
  • 9). Payment of Disability Pension & Dependants' Award of Volunteer Force personnel.
  • 10). Maintenance of seniority roll Regimental wise.
  • 11). Maintenance of Records of all personnel from enlistment to retirement.
  • 12). Internal Auditing of the pay process and relevant ledgers.
  • 13). Payments of compensation to NOKs of service personnel killed in extraordinary circumstances.
