NEW CENTRE COMMANDANT ASSUMES DUTIES.

Col T G N De Silva officially assumed duties as the 23rd Centre Commandant of the Regimental Centre of SLAGSC amidst religious rituals and military formalities at the Regimental Centre SLAGSC on 09 May 2024.

Upon his arrival at the premises, Col T G N De Silva was accorded with a Ceremonial Guard Turnout and paid tribute to the memory of the Fallen War Heroes monument followed by a felicitation parade to honour him. Afterwards, the newly appointed Centre Commandant symbolically placed his signature on an official document to mark the assuming of duties amidst religious observances at his office. Leaving an indelible gesture, Col T G N De Silva posed for a group photograph with the Regimental Centre Staff and Commanding Officers adding much more memories to the day and then attended an all rank tea with Officers and Other Ranks.
