The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps celebrated its 72th Anniversary on 28 Nov 2023 in RHQ premises, showcasing glamour and pride in a grand scale. The anniversary day celebrations included Guard turn out and ceremonial parade for the Colonel Commandant.
Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc accepted the salute as the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on the parade accorded by the troops of General Service Corps in front of highly attended gathering of Council Members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks at the parade ground. Colonel Commandant extended his gratitude to the Centre Commandant SLAGSC, Col M K S S De Silva and troops for their great commitment for success of all exceptional commitment to the service.
The day was followed by All Ranks Tea, All Ranks Lunch and cricket match. The musical show headed by the Chief Guest brought the Corps Day ceremonies to culmination.
