The members of Seva Vanitha Branch of SLAGSC made a visit to late S/702253 WO 11 SAG Wishvajith's home in Matara on 10 April 2022 and facilitated the members of single-parent family. The Senior Non Commissioned Officer who performed duties at 4 SLAGSC(Pay & Records)was unfortunately demised due to a road accident on 30 March 2021. The President and members of SevaVanitha Branch donated school stationery packs to 12 years old son and 7 years old daughter, and gifts for 6 months old daughter of the late veteran. The widow was also gifted with a lamp wick manufacturing machine to earn livelihood.
The needy family was also benefitted with dry ration items, donated by Commanding Officer and All Ranks of 4 SLAGSC(Pay & Records) during the occasion. Further, three savings accounts were presented to the late veteran's children with the contribution of all ranks of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps.
Brigadier PalithaHewawasam, Colonel Commandant SLAGSC, Centre Commandant and Senior Staff Officers made their presence during the donation programme.
