The SLAGSC SVB together with the SLAGSC RHQ donated school equipment, stationeries and spectacles to children of SLAGSC families & Civil staff families worth of Rs. 1,900,000.00 in order to upgrade the education standards of the children.
The event took place at the RHQ SLAGSC on the 23ʳd of Dec 2021 under the guidance given by Mrs Eranga Hewawasam, the president SLAGSC SVB who graced the event as the chief guest.
The donation programme was made possible by the sponsorship extended by Mr Kasthuriarachchi & Mrs kasthuriarachchi to invoke blessings to (Late) Colonel F S Kasthuriarachchi. Atlas Axillia (Pvt) Ltd & St Anials Lions Club too contributed to make the event a success.
The Col Comdt & Dir P&R Brig H A P P K Hewawasam, Centre Comdt, COs, Senior Officers, SVB members and representative gathering of donors were among the participants.
