The SLAGSC Officer's Training Day for the 2nd quarter of 2019 was conducted at RHQ SLAGSC Panagoda on 10 July 2019 as per the directions of Army HQ. The training programme for the day commenced with the Physical Training Parade at 0600 hrs with the participation of Senior Officers/Officers and approximately 175 which included Legal, Accounts, Agriculture and other professional officers of SLAGSC.
After the muster parade all officers assembled at the RHQ Auditorium to attend for a presentation conducted by Maj E A A S Chaminda SLAGSC, on ''War Literature and Kokavil Attack''. Subsequently, Mr. Nishantha Perera, Senior lecturer, University of Keleniya, delivered a lecture on ''Developing Negotiation Skills'' with the participation of 150 Officers at SLAGSC auditorium.
The second session of the training day commenced at 1400 hrs with a lecture on ''Successful Professional and Family Life'' which was conducted by Mr. Vipula Sri Nanda, Senior Lecturer and the Manager at Teacher Professional Development Centre, Maharagama for all Offrs at the Offrs' Training Day.
The day's proceedings came to an end with a dinner organized at Offrs' Mess RHQ - SLAGSC for all offrs participated for the Regtl Trg Day. The Centre Commandant and the staff of RHQ SLAGSC under the instructions of the Colonel Commandant made the Quarterly Officers' Training Day a success.
