Commanding Officer Lt Col V E Weerakkody Lsc SLAGSC handed over his duties as Commanding Officer 1 SLAGSC on 14 February 2018 after completing more than three years as the Commanding Officer.
To mark this occasion sequence of events were organized by the officers and Other Ranks of 1 SLAGSC. Guard Turn Out and Guard of honor was awarded by the 1st Battalion of Sri Lanka General Service Corps. Subsequently out going Commanding Officer addressed the troops and followed by an All Ranks Tea.
