The Unit Accounts and Admin Officers Course designed to train the middle grade officers in Public and Non Public Fund related accounts, Auditing and Army admin procedure commenced at the RHQ SLAGSC, Army Cantonment, Panagoda on 25 October 2018.
Total numbers of 36 x officers from all arms joined the course No 76 which is conducted under the supervision of SLAGSC Trade School. The course is conducted at RHQ SLAGSC auditorium of Panagoda due to Non availability of required accommodation for student officers in the Trade School located at Kuttigala, Embilipitiya.
The opening address was delivered by the Commandant of the SLAGSC Trade School Col Saliya Padmashantha Lsc. The course will be conducted with the assistance extended by Lt Col Sampath Liyanage USP SLAGSC, GSO 1, RHQ SLAGSC and Maj Prasanga Wanniarachchi psc SLAGSC, GSO 2, RHQ SLAGSC.
After the commencement of the course in 1997 by RHQ SLAGSC 756 x officers have successfully finished to improve Accounts and Administration standard of the respective Regiments. The course No 75 is due to terminate on 09 November 2018.
