SLAGSC WINS A BRONZE MEDAL IN ASIAN WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP - 2019

The Asian Weightlifting Championship 2019 was held at Ningbo, Chaina from 18.04.2019 to 28.04.2019.

One of the key player S/O103055 Lance Corporal Kumara Y D I of 6th Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps from Sri Lanka Army represented Sri Lanka National Weightlifting team and manage to win a Bronze medal in his weight category 55 kg, lifting total weight of 135 kg in clean and jerk Method.

He was warmly welcomed by the Secretary, Sports Committee of Body Building, Weightlifting and Power lifting Maj D M M Subasinghe at BIA.
