The SLAGSC SVB organized a donation programme for 3 selected families who are unable to afford the required data facilities for study purpose under the patronage of the SLAGSC SVB President Mrs Eranga Hewawasam. The Handing over ceremony was held on 16 September 2021 at the RHQ SLAGSC Regimental lecture hall.
Accordingly, SLAGSC SVB ladies visited S/702225 Sgt Rathnayaka RMCP's residence to donate a wheel chair to his disabled father. The wheel chair was donated by Mrs Chalani Bandara in remembrance of her late husband Lt Col G K N J Bandara (Late) RSP. With the intention of assisting the family requirements due to ongoing quarantine curfew restrictions a ration pack was also distributed to his family.
The Centre Commandant, senior officers of RHQ SLAGSC and members of SVB participated in this worthy course.
