The Chairperson of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Kamani Palihakkara, and the senior members visited the "Abhimansala" wellness centre, located at Anuradhapura on 27 September 2018 where a group of differently able War Heroes are recuperating.
During the visit, President and members of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha branch spent more time with them inquiring into their well-being and other needs. SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch too organized a delicious lunch for them that was followed by an entertainment programme by the troops of Sri Lanka Army Bands and Performing Arts.
Towards the end of this cordial interaction, President and the members gifted twenty numbers of folding chairs to be used by War Heroes mark the visit by SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch.
The event was coordinated by Commanding Officer 6th Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Lt Col Ajantha Kaluarachchi SLAGSC and Mrs. Chathurika Wijesinghe along with all officers and Other Ranks of the battalion.
