The Chairperson of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Kamani Palihakkara, and the senior members visited the Abhimansala - 2 Wellness Center located at Kamburupitiya on 16 November 2018 where a group of differently able War Heroes are recuperating.
During the visit an inmate welcomed the President and other senior members of SLAGSC - Seva Vanitha Branch. A cordial interaction was made by the members inquiring in to the well-being and other needs of the inmates. Necessary items were donated to the Abhimansala - 2 for the use of inmates. Further they have arranged delicious lunch accompanied by an entertainment event organized by the Directorate of Army Band and Performing Arts.
The event was coordinated by Commanding Officer, 5th Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Crops (Volunteer), Maj Jayantha Rajanayake SLAGSC and Mrs Janaki Abeykoon along with all officers and Other Rank of the battalion.
