The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) successfully conducted a School Book Donation Programme for 330 children of SLAGSC soldiers on 10 February 2026 at the Conference Hall of SLAGSC.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the President of the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. N. K. De Silva, and with the direction of Brigadier M.K.S.S. De Silva, the Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC. The event was coordinated and organized with the support of the commanding officer of 4 SLAGSC.
During the event, essential school supplies including book sets, school bags, stationery, and other necessary educational items were distributed among the children to support their academic activities for the new school year.
