Victorious Rugby Team of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps marked its 8th consecutive victory beating Sri Lanka Army Service Corps' Rugby Team by 24-22 in final match held at Race Course Ground on 16 August 2019.
SLAGSC played 3 matches with SLA, VIR and SLAOC before selected to the final match and beated by 69-03, 26-12, and 41-10 respectively. Adding glamour to the Regiment, S/2O101668 Private Dikkumbura DGGS awarded Best Player of the tournament.
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General NUMMW Senanayake RWP RSP VSV USP USACGSC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and many Senior Officers and Retired Senior Officers of SLAGSC have participated to cheer the players at the final match.
