The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, under the guidance of Hon. President Mrs. P N K De Silva, in collaboration with Lions International District 306 D7, organized a spectacle donation program benefiting 100 family members of Army personnel on 1st November 2025 at the Lecture Hall, Regimental Headquarters.
All participants were examined by well-recognized Specialist optometrists, and 10 parents were selected for free cataract surgeries, further supporting their eye health and well-being.
The event was graced by Brigadier M K S S De Silva the Colonel Commandant SLAGSC, the Centre Commandant, senior Officers, Seva Vanitha Branch members, and esteemed guests, including Lion Thamara Dematapitiya, Project Chairperson of the Maharagama Central Lions Club.
