On the conceptual direction of Chairperson Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, the Seva Vanitha Branch in collaboration with Regimental Centre SLAGSC organized a Bodhi Puja ceremony to invoke blessings of the Dhamma on students ready to take G.C.E. Ordinary Level exam 2021. The religious sermon was held at 1730 hour on Saturday, 21 May 2022 at the Sri Lanka Army Bodhirajaramaya Panagoda.
The spiritual motivation programme saw the attendance of number of students belong to Officers and Other Ranks of SLAGSC and other Regiments and Battalions established in the Army Cantonment Panagoda. Not only the candidates their siblings and parents joined with them to invoke blessings.
At the end of the programme, Seva Vanitha Branch made arrangements to distribute stationery packs for all students and children, as compliments to their success in education. Mrs. Eranga Hewawasam Chairperson Seva Vanitha Branch, Senior Staff Officers at Regimental Centre, Seva Vanitha Branch Committee Members, Officers and Other Ranks were present during the programme.
