The Inter Regiment Basketball tournament 2019 commenced at the APTS Gymnasium, Panagoda on 10th March 2019 with the participation of 16 Teams (Men) and 04 Teams (Women) which includes 16 Regiments from the Sri Lanka Army and 2 teams from KDU.
Both Men's and Women's Basketball teams of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps qualified to play at the finals after they defeated SLCMP Men's and Women's teams with a score of 78 to 66 and 46 to 29 respectively at the semi final matches held on 14th March 2019.
The Final matches will be held on 15th March 2019 from 1500 hrs onwards at The APTS Gymnasium, Panagoda.
