Illumination ceremony of SLAGSC Volleyball court and exhibition volleyball match was held on 1900hrs on 17(Monday) August, at RHQ SLAGSC Volleyball Court, Army Cantonment Panagoda. Col Comdt SLAGSC and DGFM, AHQ Maj Gen C K Handunmulla was grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. RHQ SLAGSC organized the event with the guidance of Centre Comdt of SLAGSC Col A M K G P S K Abeysinghe. Director Budget and Financial Management, Brig M W T C Mettananda USP, Director Pay and Records, Brig H A P P K Hewawasm , Director Army Benevolent Fund, Col R P S Pathmashantha Lsc, Directopr Internal Audit, Brig M C De Zoyza and large no of Snr Offrs/Offrs witness the event.
The opening ceromoney was enthralled by an exhibition match held among the Volleyball teams of GR and SLAGSC. GR team won the match after close fight by 3/2. The president Army Volleyball Committee, Brig T M Abeyratne RSP Lsc donated sport items to SLAGSC volleyball team during the event.
