COLONEL P R SAMARAWEERA ASSUMED THE OFFICE AS THE NEWLY APPOINTED CENTRE COMMANDANT

Col P R Samaraweera is assumed duties as the 21st Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps amid religious blessings at the Regimental Centre on Wednesday, 07 September 2022.

Newly appointed Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by Lt Col U A Kaluarachchi USP, and was honoured with a guard turnout and Parade followed by offering floral tribute to the Regimental War Heroes’ monument. Later, Colonel P R Samaraweera signed a formal document & marked the assumption of his new office amidst blessings of the maha sanga at the presence of Senior Officers and Regimental Staff at the RHQ SLAGSC. As a formality, the newly appointed Colonel P R Samaraweera addressed all ranks before he joined the all rank tea party.
