The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, Major General M W T C Mettananda USP ndc marked his maiden visit to 2(V) Bn of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on 18 November 2022.
The Colonel Commandant was accorded with a Drive Pass at the main entrance of 2(V) SLAGSC on his arrival and welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 2(V) SLAGSC. At the outset CO briefed about the role, task and the present deployment. Subsequently the Colonel Commandant planted a sapling to mark his visit and took a group photograph in front of the 2(V) SLAGSC.
Afterwards, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops. The day's itinerary was concluded with an all Ranks tea.
