Maj Gen Wajira Palihakkara, DGFM - AHQ and Col Comdt, SLAGSC visited "Ranaviru Sevana" at Ragama with few senior officers on 08 January 2019 in line with the visit by the Comd of the Army to Mihidu Seth Medura wellness resort on the same day. This visit was arranged by Army HQ to convey New Year blessings and to distribute new year gifts from Comd of the Army among the war heroes in receiving medical treatments at Ranaviru Sevana.
Senior Officers were warmly welcomed by Brig Shantha Rajakaruna, Comdt, Ranaviru Sevana Ragama, and other senior Staff Officers. DGFM/Col Comdt, SLAGSC and other senior officers visited the wards and had friendly discussion with all inmates at Ranaviru Sevana and gifted new year presents with best wishes for speedy recovery.
Maj Gen Kamal Sumanapala, Director General Army Medical Services, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Director General General Staff, Brig Pradeep De Silva, Director Welfare, Col Jagath Gamage, Commandant Base Ordnance Depot joined the DGFM / Colonel Commandant SLAGSC to convey new year greetings and hand over the gifts to inmates at Ranaviru Sevana.
