On the invitation of Commanding Officer, 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps the Maj Gen W R Palihakkara USP, Col Comdt SLAGSC visited the 1 SLAGSC detachment located at Alla-Kanthale on 21 March 2018.
Major W A D C M S Perera Lsc SLAGSC, Second In Command, 1 SLAGSC and Captain V G D Sirantha SLAGSC received Col Comdt on his arrival on behalf of CO - 1 SLAGSC who is on a overseas visit.
After inspecting the Ceremonial guard turn out accorded to him, Col Comd made a floral tribute to the monument erected as the detachment to commemorate fallen heroes. The days events followed with a briefing, all ranks tea at ORs Mess, planting of Mango Sapling Camp visit and visit to the Agriculture Projects of 1 SLAGSC.
