CLERK COURSE NO 58 FOR SNCOs OF ALL ARMS CONCLUDES AT SLAGSC TRADE SCHOOL

The "Clerk Course - No 58" was conducted for Other Ranks of all Arms of the Sri Lanka Army Regular & Volunteer units from 20 September to 21 December 2018 at the SLAGSC Trade School at Kuttigala. This course is designed to produce much needed Clerks to the Regular & Volunteer Force units of the Sri Lanka Army. The course was conducted through a well designed syllabus covering a period of 11 weeks and it included Office Procedure, Pay and Records Procedure, Army Organization, Army Orders, Army Act and Civil Administration duties etc... . After successful completion of the course the participants are employed for office duties in their own Regiments.

S/2017VFRD 94851 Private Rathnayake R M S S of 2nd Battalion Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (Volunteer) secured the 1st place in the course for his outstanding performance and obtained highest aggregate in all examinations.

A total of number of 85 x Other Ranks from all Arms successfully completed the course. The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 21 December 2018 at the SLAGSC, Trade School auditorium. Col Saliya Padmashantha Lsc, Comdt SLAGSC Trade School gave away the certificates to participants.
