A Buddha statue, was donated to the "Viharagama Bodhi Viharaya" located near the Trade School Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Kuttigala, was consecrated on 17.10.2025 at an auspicious time for the revival of Buddhism, with the devout patronage of the former President and current Senior Adviser of the ' Old Anandians’ Buddhist Association' of the Ananda College, Colombo, Mr. Mahendra Jayasinghe, with the cooperation and assistance of the residents of the area, under the full supervision of Colonel C S Demuni (O/64093), the Commandant - Trade School SLAGSC, through the pious attitudes and spiritual well-being of all ranks of the Trade School,
