A Book Donation Programme for 100 selected school children of Army personnel was successfully conducted by the Seva Vanitha Branch of RHQ SLAGSC headed by the honorable President of Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Janaki Liyanage.

As per the concept of the President of the SevaVanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Dr. HimaliNiyangoda, a books and stationery donation programme was successfully conducted with the support of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch and the Accounts Officers on 19.02.2024 at the lecture hall of RHQ SLAGSC.

A group of 100 selected schoolchildren of the Officers/ Other Ranks and Civil Servants attached to the Regiment were distributed with prizes worth Rs.15,000 comprised of books, stationery items, shoes and school bags. The inclusion of entertainment sessions of school children of the army personnel of the regiment added extra glamour to the programme.

The Centre Commandant of RHQ SLAGSC, members of the Regimental SevaVanitha Branch as well as parents participated in the event.
