Assumption of Duties by the New President of Seva Vanitha Branch – SLAGSC

Mrs. Nayomani De Silva officially assumed duties as the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, at 11:35 a.m. at the Seva Vanitha Office, Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda.

Upon her arrival, she was warmly welcomed by the Vice President of the Branch, Mrs. Chathurani Ovithigala, with a bouquet of flowers. The event began with religious observances, followed by the traditional lighting of the oil lamp and the official signing ceremony to mark the commencement of her tenure.

The occasion was graced by the Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC, Brigadier M.K.S.S. De Silva, the Secretary of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Disna Kodithuwakku, the Director of the Directorate of Pay & Records, Brigadier T.G.N. De Silva, the Deputy Centre Commandant, Colonel W.T.A.S. Perera, senior Seva Vanitha members and lady officers.

All present extended their warmest congratulations and best wishes to Mrs. Nayomani De Silva as she embarks on her new leadership journey, with hopes that her vision and dedication will further uplift the initiatives of the Seva Vanitha Branch.
