Accounts Officers' Course (PUBLIC & NON PUBLIC) - No 2 was conducted for the Middle Grade Officers of Sri Lanka Army by the SLAGSC Trade School from 22 January 2019 and was concluded on 05 March 2019 at RHQ SLAGSC auditorium, Panagoda. This course is designed to educated commissioned officers in Accounting Procedures (Public & Non Public), Auditing and Army Admin Procedures. A total number of 40 x officers from all arms successfully completed the course.
As per the final examination results total of 3 x Officers obtained 'A' Grading (Outstanding) and 24 x officers obtained 'B' Grading (Above Average). Capt P M S Abeygunawardhane of 3 Sri Lanka Army Women Corps (Volunteer) was placed 1st in the course as she obtained highest marks in all examinations conducted.
The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 05 March 2019 at the RHQ SLAGSC auditorium. Lt Col Sasanka Perera, Staff Officer 1 (Logistics), RHQ SLAGSC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Maj Manjula Subasinghe, GSO 1, RHQ SLAGSC, Maj Prabhath Amarasena psc Lsc, GSO 2, RHQ SLAGSC and Officer Instructors of the course were present at the awards ceremony.
