Seva Vanitha branch of SLAGSC held the Annual General Meeting - 2018 on 21st December 2018 at RHQ SLAGSC, Auditorium, Army Cantonment, Panagoda under the patronage of President, SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Kamani Palihakkara.
The days programme commenced with a scholarship awarding programme which intended to support deserving students excelled in studies belonging to SLAGSC families studying in Grade 5, G.C.E (O/L) and G.C.E (A/L) Examinations. A total of 73 achievers of Grade 5 scholarship exam, G.C.E (O/L) and (A/L) examination in year 2018 were felicitated and provided with financial grant worth of Rs.440,000.00 at this ceremony. Also financial grant worth of Rs. 50,000.00 awarded as medical aid to five family members of SLAGSC soldiers.
The second item of the programme, was to appoint office bearers for 2019 for the SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch. The under mentioned ladies ware appointed unanimously.

During her address to the audience the Chairperson SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch congratulated and expressed her best wishes to students who succeeded in the examinations. Vice President Mrs. Fathima Yusuf, Senior members of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch, SLAGSC Lady officers, wives of Regimental RSM and unit RSMs and large number of parents were present for scholarship award ceremony and AGM.
