5 SLAGSC CELEBRATED ITS 7TH CORPS DAY AT KARANDENIYA

5th Battalion of Sri Lanka General Service Corps celebrates its 7th Anniversary, 10th October 2017 at the Army Camp, Karandeniya. The celebration began on 9 October 2017 with religious activities to invoke blessings on the Corps and the war heroes of the Corps who paid the supreme sacrifice to protect our motherland. Maj J A C Sampath Jayasinghe accepted the salute as the Commanding Officer of the 5th Battalion Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on the parade accorded by the troops of SLAGSC. As the final event of corps day programme held a delicious all ranks lunch.
