16th SLAGSC Colonel Commandant Takes over Duties....

Major General D M K D B Pussella RWP RSP took over duties as the 16th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps on 08 June 2023 during a brief ceremony held at the SLAGSC Regimental Center.

Colonel M K S S De Silva, Center Commandant, SLAGSC welcomed Major General Deepal Pussella on his arrival at the camp premises and invited him to take the Guard Turnout and the colourful parade in accordance with military traditions.

Later, he placed his signature symbolically for an official document amidst religious blessings and marked the acceptance of his new responsibilities.

Later, setting out his scope of work and duties, Major General Deepal Pussella addressed the Officers as a formality and emphazised the importance of working as a team to protect the image of the Regiment.

The day was concluded with an All Rank Lunch.

In addition to the prestigious appointment of Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps, Major General Deepal Pussella serves as the Commander SFHQ(WEST).
