The Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebration of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps was conducted by the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB) on 25 April 2026 at the Regimental Centre, under the guidance of Mrs. Shirani Nirmalin Wijekoon, Chairperson of SLAOC-SVB.
Major General W.M.S.N. Wijekoon ndc AATO, Quartermaster General and Colonel Commandant of SLAOC, together with the Chairperson of SLAOC-SVB, graced the event as Chief Guests.
The festival included several traditional games and cultural dance performances, and valuable prizes were awarded to the winners of the competitions.
Members of SLAOC-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, civil workers and their family members participated in the event.
