ASVU Conducts a Donation Programme

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) conducted medical equipment and essential items donation programmes on 18 March 2026 at the Army Hospital, Colombo and the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, Colombo. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President of the ASVU.

During the programme, one Oxygen Concentrator 7F-10 (DSI21091409), one Oxygen Concentrator 8F-5A (210800634), two mobile UA sterilisation units and ten full-face masks were donated to the Army Hospital, Narahenpita. In addition, essential food items and medicines were provided for the children’s ward. Subsequently, essential food items and medicines were also donated to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital.

Brigadier D.K.S.S. Dodangoda RSP USP, Director of the Army Hospital, Narahenpita, Dr S.H.J. Senapathi, Deputy Director of the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital, senior officers, officers and other ranks of ASVU participated in the programme.
