In line with International Women’s Day, a workshop on ‘Beauty Culture and Personal Grooming’ was held at the auditorium of the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on 03 March 2026, under the guidance of Mrs. Shyama Hettige, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME-SVB).
The session was conducted by Mrs. Thushara Lakmini from AYUSHLAB (PVT) Ltd together with her team.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and confidence in personal grooming, skincare and beauty practices suitable for both daily life and special occasions. During the interactive sessions, practical techniques on skincare routines, makeup application and overall personal presentation were demonstrated to the participants.
Members of SLEME-SVB participated in the event.
