Financial assistance was granted by the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB) on 20 February 2026 at the Regimental Centre Auditorium to complete the partially constructed house of a Non-Commissioned Officer of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry.
This programme was implemented with the objective of extending financial support to serving Army personnel who have been unable to complete the construction of their houses. Under this initiative, Rs. 300,000.00 was donated to facilitate the completion of his partially built house.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry, and supervision of Mrs Darshani Yahampath, Chairperson of the SLLI-SVB.
Members of the SLLI-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
