Under the guidance of Mrs. Swendini Rodigo, President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), a spectacles donation programme was conducted on 09 January 2026 for 229 retired soldiers, disabled soldiers and their families at the 58 Infantry Division.
Major General A.M.A. Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding of the 58 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Members of the ASVU, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
