A Christmas celebration programme was conducted by the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (SLA–SVB) on 25 December 2025 at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama, to bring joy and hope to children undergoing treatment and their families.
The programme included Christmas carols performed by the members of the SLA–SVB together with the children, followed by the distribution of snack packets, gift packs and a lunch for all participants.
Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery, Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, Chairperson of the SLA–SVB, around 200 children and their parents, senior officers, officers, other ranks and members of the SLA–SVB, participated in the programme.
