The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME – SVB) conducted a flood relief support programme on 19 December 2025 in Pothuwila area to assist civilians affected by adverse weather condition.
With the contributions made by donors in the area, financial assistance and essential relief items were donated to support affected families. The distributed items included clothing, bottled water and stationery, with the total value exceeding Rs. 700,000.00.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Chairperson of SLEME – SVB, Mrs. Shyama Hettige.
