The Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (SLA-SVB) launched multiple relief initiatives to assist communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah and the resulting adverse weather.
A large-scale dry-ration distribution programme was conducted in Hanwella on 29 November 2025. Under the initiative, a total of 500 dry-ration packs were distributed under the guidance of Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, the Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and the Colonel Commandant of SLA, together with Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, the Chairperson of SLA-SVB.
Continuing its support efforts, the Branch organised another relief programme on 07 December 2025 in Kaduwela, Pahala Bomiriya and Ganewatta, providing dry rations, clothing, sanitary items and cleaning materials to over 100 affected individuals.
On 06 December, the Rotary Club and the Fashion Store extended a generous donation of sanitary items, clothing and cleaning tools.
