The Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) conducted a Children’s Day programme under the guidance of Mrs. Indunil Jayakody, Chairperson of the SLSR-SVB, on 04 October 2025 at the SOS Children’s Village, Piliyandala.
Major General J.K.R. Jayakody RWP USP, Deputy Commander of Security Force Headquarters (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of the SLSR, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The event featured fun activities, competitions, and the distribution of gift parcels and sweets among the children. In addition, sports items worth Rs. 30,000.00 were handed over to the SOS Children’s Village for the benefit of the children.
Members of the SLSR-SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
