The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC–SVB) celebrated World Children’s Day 2025 on 04 October 2025 at the Defence Services School Auditorium, Colombo.
Major General H.H.K.S.S. Hewage RWP RSP USP Rcds psc, Colonel Commandant of SLAWC, graced the event as the Chief Guest, along with Mrs. Sachetha Hewage, Chairperson of SLAWC–SVB.
Nearly 75 children of Officers and Other Ranks serving in the SLAWC participated in the celebration. During the event, each child received a special gift, followed by an interactive and inspirational session conducted by Mr. Wasantha Moragoda and his team on the theme “Act–Impact.”
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, along with their children, participated in the event.
